Structural Defect Inspections
Regular surveys of domestic properties are usually carried out by a Chartered Surveyor who will inspect the fabric of the building. Typically, this is done for valuation purposes or for a financial institution for mortgage lending.
If any significant issues are found by the surveyor they will sometimes recommend further investigation by a Chartered Structrual Engineer.
CVM provide advice regarding specific structural defects such as localised damage due to cracking or settlement etc. We will also review specific areas of your property which you are considering extending or altering. This is to ensure that they are structurally capable of supporting your requirements and if not advise on remedial measures to achieve your proposals.
